6th District 2003 Fall Conference:

Nisswa Garden Club and Mission Center Garden Club host the 6th District Fall Conference "Mums the Word" on Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at the Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa, MN.  Speakers will be :  Barbara Gans "Pruning" and Jim Sherwood "Fall Blooming Perennials"

Nisswa Gardeners

Flower planting and care at the Nisswa Community Center, the Nisswa Elementary School, plus: Spring planting and seasonal decorations at the large planter installed by our Club at the entrance to Downtown Nisswa.

The Northland Arboretum; Minnesota Monet & Wildflower Gardens

Committee is temporarily inactive. Planting and care under the direction of the Arboretum staff.

Fall Mum Sale

This is the Club's major fund-raising event of the year; with Mums planted by club members, grown and tended in The Treehouse greenhouses in Pequot Lakes, and sold by club members in September and October in the Nisswa community.

In addition to its community service projects, the Nisswa Garden Club provides financial support and encouragement to the following organizations:
